Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua.- In order to promote Juarez, El Paso and Las Cruces border zone for investment by maquiladora industry, a collaboration agreement will be executed on Wednesday at a hotel in El Paso by the city mayors of all three cities, Jose Luis Gutierrez Juarez, Head of Juarez Municipality Financial and Economic Promotion Bureau, informed.
“Industry is currently an essential pole of development in Ciudad Juarez, and it is the origin of economic development here”, he said.
He affirmed that prior to the execution, meetings have been held by authorities from the three cities to agree on joint actions.
He pointed-out that the purpose is making a competitive first world entity, and be in the position to compete against any other region; “We have everything needed: infrastructure, labor, accounting and legal services for industrial development”, he said.
