Mexico City.- In 2012 Mexico will be consolidate in the Aerospace Industry, staying as number 1 in the world in receiving Foreign Direct Investment. Aerospace sector has posted fast growth in the last few years. Exports made by this sector tripled in only six years, reaching US$4.337 billion in 2011, according to data from ProMexico, which further informed that in 2011 imports amounted to US$3.782, keeping a positive trade balance.
Upon announcing Mexico’s Aerospace Summit 2012 – the most important encounter of businesses in aerospace manufacturing industry, to be held in Queretaro Conventions Center next October 3rd to 5th, the importance of the sector was stressed.
The tradeshow will gather over 600 businessmen from the chain of supply for companies such as Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier, Eurocopter, Cessna, Bell and Hawker Beechcraft, among other final aircraft assemblers.
