Faurecia to open three plants in Mexico

The auto parts maker Faurecia, which operates 12 plants in Mexico generating 8,000 direct jobs, it´s about to open three more plants by 2016, two in San Luis Potosi and one in Puebla, to meet the growing auto production in North American. It is expected that the cars demand in the U.S. increases up to 20 million units by 2018, so the firm is anticipating to this growth with the opening of new plants in Mexico, said Yectuani Rios, the company’s spokeswoman. From Mexico, the company supplies to the plants of Chrysler, Ford, General Motors, Nissan and Mercedes Benz, located in North America.
