The Automotive Service
Initiated in 1980, CIEMEX-WEFA’s Automotive Service provides detailed 
economic analysis to many of Mexico’s major market participants.
Drawing on our extensive resources in macroeconomics and international economics, we
capture all the elements that can affect the Mexican automotive industry.
Four times a year we issue reports (in Spanish) providing in-depth
analysis on:
- The general outlook for the Mexican economy
- The outlook for the automotive and auto-parts industries
- Special analysis of relevant topics affecting the auto market in Mexico
- Critical economic assumptions and risk factors behind our forecast
As a subscriber, you also receive 6 issues of Monthly Economic Indicators (in
Spanish ) with details on:

- Trade balance
- Prices
For our Automotive Forecast, we use a 125-equation model, All our
projections are refined through discussions with our network of automotive industry
clients. Through this network and our expertise in modeling and economic analysis, we have
become the best source for information on the Mexican auto industry. Our extensive data
base, continuously updated, contains more than 300 industry variables. Our production and
sales forecasts that extend out to six years, our estimates of car stock, and our analysis
of car, light-truck, and heavy-truck sales are the tools you need to develop your
company’s strategic plan.
