Mexico,- Carlos Slim said that in spite of lack of safety in Mexico investments by .the private sector continue.

“Businessmen continue investing, private investment is increasingly important, what is needed is more areas and perspectives to channel resources”, he said in a visit to Carso Mall in Mexico City.

He pointed-out that economic activity must be reactivated in key sectors such as infrastructure and tourism, which are high employment generators.

“Support must be given to the main jobs generators, which are small and medium companies, construction sector and real estate development”, he said.

Cargo Group may split and be listed separately in the Mexican Stock Exchange.
