Chihuahua, Chihuahua,- GYM International – a company which packs jalapeño pepper in brine in several presentations – opened yesterday a canning plant in Saucillo, Chihuahua.

Martha Lara, Minister of Industrial Development, said at the inauguration event that Saucillo Municipality has significantly contributed to the State’s integral and economic development for a long time, not only because of its wealth and favorable natural conditions, but also for its people’s greatness of spirit, who with their tireless effort and work stand out, among other things, in the production of dairy products and chile peppers.

It is because of this work culture that the State Government is always willing to support the development of Saucillo and its people, through several actions and the establishment of industrial operations such as Wrangler plant, Naica Mining Company and hydroponic greenhouses, among many others which have contributed to the Region’s growth.
