STEWART CONNECTOR SYSTEMS

Stewart Connector Systems is the leading designer/manufacturer of high-quality, high-performance modular jacks and plugs for the telecommunications, local area network (LAN), data processing, medical instrumentation, automotive, and industrial markets. Headquartered in Glen Rock, Pennsylvania, Stewart is an operating company of the Insilco Technologies Group, and brings in approximately one fourth of ITG's annual sales of nearly $300 million. Stewart has facilities in U.S.A., Mexico, Japan, Germany, United Kingdom, and China.

With more than 2,000 modular connector products, Stewart Connector Systems thrives on new designs for leading edge customers. Stewart pioneered the development of shielded multiport jack systems that eliminate EMI/RFI noise while improving high-speed transmissions. compania.jpg (4778 bytes)

They followed that with the CableJack(tm), a CAT 5e cable-ready jack for use in Gigabit Ethernet applications, the MICROJACK(r), an ultra small form factor for PCMCIA cards, and the CompressorJack(tm), a low-profile, high-performance stacked jack.

Most recently, Stewart  released a CAT 6 modular plug that meets/exceeds proposed EIA/TIA  requirements.

In 1996 Stewart partnered with InNet Technologies (San Diego, CA) to design, manufacture, and market modular connector products with integrated magnetics. Today the customer list for MagJacks(tm)           includes the biggest names in communications and computing with tens of thousands of ports of product shipped each month. The keys to this success are innovative engineering, complete customer focus, a well-developed manufacturing capability, and highly competitive prices.

Stewart modular jacks feature selectively plated drawn-wire contacts with low porosity plating for maximum durability. Unique  electropolished mating surfaces and patented wire termination technology allows for unmatched plug durability and reliability.  Stewart Quality begins with their solid engineering group and know how in the manufacturing of modular connector systems. Stewart Connector Systems is ISO 9001 approved.

logom.gif (9754 bytes)On the 30th of May 1994, the assembly plant S.C.S. de Mexico initiated operations with a group of 13 persons (1 manager, 1 supervisor, 1 chauffeur and 10 operators). At that moment, we were producing connectors for communication systems.

In 1996 we initiated a new project of communication cables for Lucent technology, which has caused an ample development in our product lines.

In 1997, because of the growth of our personnel, we were forced to move to the installations where we are today.

In the year 1998 a new communication cable Escod project started.

And in December 1999 we already have 890 employees in our company, obtaining the same month the certification ISO 9002.
