In 1999, the Leviton Manufacturing Company formed the Leviton Institute as an educational initiative with two major goals:

  • To help consumers understand how the latest affordable developments in home electrical devices can bring added convenience and greater safety to their homes

  • To remind homeowners about safe electrical practices in the home.
