Rounding out our product offering and further
developing guide wheel technology will be the highest priority of 2001. BWC is committed
to the education of our customers, prospects, distributors and sales representatives on
the features and benefits of guide wheel technology.
BWC has become a sales focused company. This is a change from past
philosophies. In order to grow the company and allow the company, its products, and its
employees to reach their full potential, BWC will be a company that is able to change and
adapt to shifting markets and product needs. BWC sells differently, manufactures
differently, and engineers differently than it has in the past, and will leverage these
new ways of working to increase overall sales and profitability. E-commerce capabilities
are being developed for selected components and linear guides. A new more robust web site
will be launched by early second quarter.
BWC is focusing on the OEM market. We will meet the requirements of
this market by having the ability to provide higher level assemblies and systems and to
accommodate special orders. Production of customized product to our OEM customers gives
BWC a competitive edge in the market and creates loyal, long-term customers.
Our product line will continue to expand. New materials and
technologies will be used. New, more complete catalogs for all our products will be
released in the first quarter. Education will be an ongoing process. All sales and
engineering department employees will fully understand our product lines and how they are
applied in the marketplace. We will be consistent and constant in our message to our
customers.
