our operations in 1928, Motorola has been growing constantly through the years, becoming

original "Walkie-Talkies" in the 30's and 40's, as well as our Moon-Rover and
Voyager radios of the 79's and 80's until our multimillionaire satellite project
"Iridium" in the 90's. Motorola is
the only company in the field that nowadays has the leadership in satellite communication
of low orbit with the lridium project.
Motorola was the first communication
company in receiving the prestigious Quality Award know as Malcom Baldrige National
Quality Award. Additionally to this award, Motorola has received the ISO 9000
certification on its manufacturing and systems processes.
