Motorola
is a company interested in supporting the college education through the promotion and
sponsorship of scientific investigation projects and technology developed by students of
Mexican public and private universities.
Few
companies have a clear and defined commitment to education and training. The Motorola case
is relevant since they started a University know as Motorola University or Galvin
Center" with presence in Latin America and Mexico. This University operates as a
catalyst for the change and the constant training of its clients; education at
international level is given to employees, clients and all kind of public interested in
our Technology.
Motorola,
through this academic commitment, has developed courses and conferences and given
donations to the Educational Institutes of our country, surpassing the sum of 1.35 million
of American dollars.
Aware
of the huge traffic problem in our City of Mexico, Motorola provided the Department of the
Federal District trunking infrastructure for the "RADAR" program, which has been
a great civic success.
